Meet Entries Updates 22nd April 2024

Withdrawals

• It's now possible to specify the dates when withdrawals will be available from / to. This allows you to open the public withdrawals page before the closing date
• It is possible to specify when entries are free until. Withdrawing a swimmer before this date/time will result in the cost of the entry being reduced. Normally this would be the same as the closing date, in order to allow swimmers to remove themselves from swims prior to the closing date. If you want to charge swimmers based on their entries you can leave this empty and withdrawals will not reduce the entry cost regardless of date/time
• We have updated the entry cost calculation so that it excludes withdrawals made before the free withdrawal deadline (see above)
• The withdrawal page URL is now displayed on the meet form

Entry Processing

• We have re-worked the entry processing system which provides some internal improvements and allows us to add new processing stages more easily. There should be no visible changes to entry processing, but internally the process is much cleaner.
• The system will now respect the maximum entries per athlete when processing entries - this is possible as a result of the change above. The entry limits check runs after validation and qualifying / consideration time checks and rejects entries which are valid and qualify (or meet consideration times) but which are outside the entry limits. If you do not specify a maximum entries per athlete value this process does not run.
• We have refactored the seeding process in order to support the above changes - there should be no visible changes in the way seeding works.

Custom Payment Details

• It is now possible to manually update your own payment details to be displayed on the confirmation page.
• It is possible to control which elements are displayed on the confirmation page and also on the validation email
• We have started to introduce payment processing - these options will not (currently) process real payments but you are able to see how they will work. At the moment, the "Enable Offline Bank Transfers" box will work in the same way it always has

Report Changes

• The Finance Report now includes relay entry numbers
